Mudita Earth (ME) is a California-based, woman-owned company by mother daughter Jessica & Pooja Chopra. In Sanskrit, “Mudita” means selfless joy from the happiness of others, a feeling we strive to imbue through our brand. We are both data scientists and in addition to being passionate about all things data, we are also passionate about all things clean and sustainable. Coming from a long lineage of farmers from India, clean and low-waste practices are inherently a part of our culture. However, the clean beauty market has not made the same products feel accessible to people who look like us. We started Mudita Earth to make affordable and sustainable clean beauty more widely accessible to people of color.

Combing our ancient traditions with modern science we have formulated our 3 products to provide the perfect solution for glowing skin. And, our claims are backed by dermatologist testing.

Ethically Made - ME is a founder-formulated, 100% clean, toxin-free, cruelty-free (certified by Leaping Bunny) skincare brand that uses high quality ingredients safe for your skin and the environment.  Our products are free of parabens, PEGs, silicones, GMO, allergens and sulphates.

Sustainable - From manufacturing to sourcing to packaging, ME follows strict regulations for sustainability while also making sure to reduce waste and carbon emissions. We believe that clean beauty goes hand in hand with a healthy planet and its citizens. The products are made in the US and we source our ingredients from local suppliers.

Inclusive - As women of color (South-Asian), we have formulated our products to be inclusive of melanin rich skin.  ME commits to making strides in uplifting other women for the community and future generations to thrive.

Mission-Driven - Giving back is central to our identity. We are committed to giving back to our community through a charity of the month and 1% For the Planet to support environmental causes.

We work with a manufacturing facility that has been operating since 1978 and can produce 75,000 units each month.The facility and the processes are FDA registered, ICMAD GMP certified, and COSMOS/ECOCERT certified. The manufacturing facility has implemented processes to lower energy usage, cut waste, conserve resources, and decrease emissions to clean the air and environment.We have carefully selected the suppliers of the ingredients, who follow regulatory compliance and follow sustainability rules.
